How to inflate a pool float?

Pool floats contribute to a lot of outdoor fun in the pool. Mostly are inflatables that need to be blow-up, usually using a pump or inflate it manually.

These floats are perfect to lounge around the pool to have a very relaxing day and also a great way to enjoy playing in your pool.

There are several ways to inflate your pool float. If you’re inflating a smaller pool float, then you could blow it up using your mouth. A small tube, ball, or a small animal float wouldn’t be hard to inflate manually.

Inflate using your lung power

You could blow up your smaller pool float using your lung power through your mouth. Get your float and search for its valve stem and pull it out and open it. Blow it continuously with little breaks now and then until you fully inflate it through its valve stem. Don’t forget to close the cap of the valve stem to close it securely.

A faster way to inflate your float is to use an electric air pump. There are manual air pumps too, but it would also require more effort on your part, and it’s also tiring like blowing your float using your mouth.

Inflate with an electric air pump

An electric air pump is important and a necessity to make your inflation more smoothly and easier. Here are the simple steps on how to use it.

Just lay down your float and the valve stem facing your direction. Put your air pump hose over the valve stem and push it down firmly to attach the hose. Turn on your pump and inflate your float to its recommended firmness. Close the cover of the valve stem in your float and push down so it won’t be protruding.

Inflate with a hairdryer

You could use your hairdryer if you don’t have a pump at all.

This is one of the easiest inflating hack discovered by some resourceful people out there. You would need a water bottle that you would need to cut in the middle. Attach the upper part of the bottle to the end of your hairdryer. Use only its cool setting.

Once you’re all set, turn on your hairdryer full blast to inflate your float in just a couple of minutes. Then seal your valve stem by closing its cap and pushing it down so it won’t be in your way.

After Thoughts

Kids and adults alike love to swim on a summer day to feel refreshed and to cool off. They could stay in the pool for hours, and floats are so worth it to have around. You could just relax and chill and enjoy your float.

Amazingly, people who love pool floats would really find the best and fastest way for them to inflate it. This is where there their ability to blow up their floats takes centerstage.
