Which movie is Baby Yoda in?

People are turning to be coach potatoes in the advent of media providers on air like Netflix, Amazon, cable channels like HBO, and Apple as well.

Disney+ joined the streaming-on-demand supremacy with its 2 part series The Mandalorian. Baby Yoda, without question, stole the limelight from everyone. He became an overnight sensation.

The Child or Baby Yoda was introduced in this Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. This is his first-ever appearance, and he hasn't been in any Star Wars movie yet.

The viewers got a glimpse of Baby Yoda in the first two installments of The Mandalorian as the lovable infant with a striking resemblance to Yoda, the Jedi Master.  He was seen acting very much like a baby, and he was cooing, burping, waddling, taking long naps. He also has the same quality as Yoda being 100% Force-sensitive.

Long time fanatics would agree that both Yoda and Baby Yoda added so much light and candid moments whenever they appear.

We could expect more revelations and surprises from Baby Yoda as there were already several instances he used the Force to help, and viewers are more baffled and intrigued not just by its adorable cuteness but to where it came from and why it suddenly emerged in the scene.

This lovable frog-eating infant has stolen the hearts of everyone despite not knowing a lot about him. It's just known that he came from Yoda's species, and that's it!

The arrival of The Mandalorian on Disney+ was only weeks before the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and many wished Baby Yoda was in it, but unfortunately, there was no Baby Yoda sighted in this film.

But, why is Baby Yoda not in the Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker movie?

It could have been one hell of a movie with Baby Yoda in it. Why did it not happen? They have a valid explanation and justification for it. Viewers are now very much aware that Baby Yoda is the most pleasant bombastic secret of The Mandalorian until he came out of the series.

The Child is about fifty years old, but he's still an infant, and he came from the same species as Yoda and Jedi Master Yaddle. The Mandalorian came five years after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. That's the reason why many characters from the saga don't appear in it.

The series's timeline is 25 years before Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the time difference between The Mandalorian and The Rise of Skywalker is quite big.

Anyway, The Mandalorian is still ongoing, and anything is possible. Still, the creators of The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian weren't solved with the idea of Baby Yoda being in the movie as it might conflict with the series story.

Even the merchandise and products related to Baby Yoda were asked to be released later to avoid any leakage of their best-kept secret that might impact the series.

After Thoughts

Time will tell and if it's meant to be for Baby Yoda to be in a Star Wars movie. But for now, let's enjoy him in The Mandalorian and let his character evolved the way it's supposed to be.

We can never tell; one day, he would be up on the big screen for us to further love him more.
