Where's Baby Yoda come from?

The interest in the Star Wars saga had been revived, thanks to The Mandalorian and most especially to the real cause of it, Baby Yoda. One of the persistent issues being raised is, where did Baby Yoda come from? And is he connected to Yoda?

The mystery keeps getting deeper, and there seem to be no answers yet, for now.

We only know that he looks like Yoda and might come from the same species with the same trademark color, big ears, and both are Force-sensitive. Aside from that and ever since Yoda's time, no names and origin were ever provided.

Even the creator of Star Wars, George Lucas, when asked about Yoda said, "I never really figured out where he came from, what his species is called. He added that it doesn't even have a name, and maybe it's somewhere, but I don't know what it is.

He said Yoda, the Jedi Master, is a mystery character. He's a magical character. He has no background, he comes, and he goes. He's the subversive secret, mysterious stranger that enters the film and then exits at the end.

In the past, In The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker meets Yoda on the murky, dark, and swampy planet of Dagobah. He was in exile there, and it was not his home. The Mandalorian found Baby Yoda on Arvala-7, a desert planet that reminded the Star Wars fans of Tatooine, the home of Luke Skywalker when he was a child.

Who knows, the mystery that both surrounds Yoda and Baby Yoda is what keeps us hanging and wanting for more? We would try to figure out what Baby Yoda is all about.

That's the added magic and suspense that makes us want to discover more about Baby Yoda. We all feel we haven't gone to the bottom of it yet.

It's safe to assume now that Baby Yoda has a major part in the Star Wars epic, and it only began in The Mandalorian. He wouldn't be tracked down and wanted to be killed by The Client if he doesn't hold the key to something of great significance that's essential to the story.

That alone makes our anticipation twice as much as what would unfold in our eyes in the coming episodes of The Mandalorian.

And we are all ready for it because it's about time.
